Well here we are again, my good friends. Welcome to the third issue of d.tour Magazine, which is fashionably late, but definitely worth the wait. I am very proud of this issue and very proud of our staff. They’ve worked really hard to make this issue extra special. This staff kicks ass! The local models in this issue did a little ass kicking of their own, too. And we’re more than lucky to have them on our side. We’ve been getting a lot of praise from the very beginning, but I think we’re really starting to come around and looks like we’re here to stay. (Now, that’s a threat and a promise!)

Thank you to our readers for all the great support and affection you’ve been showering on us. Please remember to spread some of that love to our dear advertisers. When you do visit one of our advertisers, please mention that you saw their ad in d. tour and how wonderful it looked and how much you just love our magazine. Lay it on thick. Real thick. Remember, our advertisers allow us to exist. So be good to them.

Also, you may have noticed a slight change to the cover. Yes, we have a new name. Without going into technicalities of why we changed our name... let’s just say we’re not legally allowed to have the old one. But we came up with an alternative which we seem to like even more.: d. tour Magazine. We consider ourselves something apart from the crowd, fresh and we’re taking you, our readers, somewhere unexpected.

Oh, and finally, a giant thank you to Mike Nesci for his efforts with our distribution. Thanks to his time and effort, we are now going to be distributed and sold in regional Barnes & Noble retail stores. Score one for the little guys! Of course, there’s a lot of other people we need to thank, like our newest contributors: Gary Gladstone, Joe Ceremele, Mike Quon and David Byrne. And, of course, the efforts of everyone who’s working hard to keep d. tour just as special as when it first came out. Thanks guys.
